I found that steering, when driving on roads that does not have an even surface, is rather difficult to keep wheels straight. I suppose with time I will get use to it.

Colleen has Parkinson’s and is basically confined to her chair most of the day. Parkinson’s affects balance and weakens muscles which makes standing and walking difficult. Going outside is very awkward. Thanks to the scooter she is able to get around the streets in the retirement complex. That enables her to enjoy all the gardens and flowers as well as seeing some bird life. It also gives her a chance to greet and sometimes chat to people who happen to be outside. Feeling the sun and the breeze of fresh air in her face is a highlight of a day that is spent sitting in a chair where the neighbour’s high wall is about all the view that she has. The scooter certainly improves the quality of her life. Driving around outside is also a time to look forward to as it breaks the monotony of a sedentary day. We are most appreciative of this piece of engineering which is both powerful and artistic to look at. Colleen is delighted to have a reliable mode of transport which offers her unexpected freedom to move around and meet people. The mirrors and lights give her a great feeling of safety. She can see cars behind her and they can more easily see her late in the afternoon. Altogether, this has been a very worthwhile purchase.

I love it, it takes a little getting use to after using an iGo Compact Mobility Scooter, I find it a harder ride but I expected it. I must admit was extremely disappointed that I did not even gen a manual with my iGo Companion and the driver who delivered it promised he will make sure that I get one, and to date still no manual!
