Medical Aid Claim Terms & Privacy Notice

By submitting a medical aid claim through Two Running Hares (Pty) Ltd t/a SA Scooter Shop, you agree to the following:

You authorise us to contact and liaise with your medical aid on your behalf for the purpose of checking benefits, submitting quotations, invoices, claims and supporting documents, and following up on your claim.

You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to submit the claim for yourself or the patient concerned.

Medical aid approval and payment are not guaranteed. Any shortfall, co-payment or amount not paid by your medical aid remains your responsibility. Where your medical aid pays you directly for equipment supplied by us, those funds must be paid to us.

To process and protect your claim, we may collect and retain your personal information, medical aid details, supporting documents and electronic submission records, including the date, time, IP address, device/browser information and acceptance of these terms. This information may be used for claim processing, fraud prevention, audit purposes and to respond to queries from your medical aid.

Your information may be shared with your medical aid, its administrator, relevant healthcare providers and service providers where necessary to process your claim.

We will handle your personal information in accordance with POPIA and applicable South African law.

We may request additional documents, including a signed authorisation form, prescription or motivation letter, where required by your medical aid.
